Just some fanart from one of my favorite movies, Sylvain Chomet's Les Triplettes de Belleville. I love the opening scene where you see the triplets younger and on stage, and I just wanted to interpret that scene.

Also, a great excuse to collaborate with one of my favorite artists here on dA. Line work and typography by me, tones and color by the flawless Adi, aka belledandies -- you are really doing yourself a disservice if you havent taken the time to pour over his gallery.

100% Adobe Illustrator crafted goodness, with a little post (noise) in PS.

This is really beautiful. You two have slightly different styles, but they go together so well. I really love the type, too. And I almost missed the little bicycle! What a great touch!
amazing movie...great work man

Wow, great work! I never had the chance to see this film, but it always looked interesting. I'll have to get my hands on a copy.

By the way, I agree. Belledandies is amazing, for sure.

Ahh! I love that movie. We own two copies, so we can loan one to people.
