Something I've been working on this past week, for a friend. The folktale pics are in the works. I'm oscillating between a story of two wind weavers, a girl who implores her mother to return from the grave, and a king who slays his daughter's wouldbe assailant , with the help of a vulture. Also a Haida warrior. He's in there somewhere too.

Tusk is such a neat word, it is crackily and slippery. Tusk Tusk Tusk. Picture an elephant saying the word Tusk. It's gravelly rich voice purring out the single syllable, the air reverberating at its utterance. Tusk.

And because no matter how many time I say this, I still get asked: this was done in Illustrator 10, as usual. Illustrator 10 Illustrator 10 Illustrator 10 Illustrator 10. Too bad we cant upload big gifs, as the gif version takes roughly 1/3rd the time to load.

this kicks ass...love the coloring the most, the choice of colors and what is color is killer...the exploding sphere thing to me seems off center, if it was moved a tad bit to the left I think it would look better but thats just me. good job though.

It's Ganesha-Good, and damn, that's good. Excellent work. I'm just starting to play with Illustrator myself, I hope I acheive something approaching your level of proficiency.
