If I Had a Heart

Tue Feb 3, 2009, 9:04 AM
Lately I've been in a really dark electro hole, musically speaking -- if you would like to sing along, I've primarily been listening to:

The Knife - Silent Shout
Fever Ray - Fever Ray
Zeigeist - Zeigeist
Ladytron - Velocifero
Portishead - Third
Goldfrapp - Seventh Tree
Lamb - Lamb
Midnight Juggernauts - Dystopia
The Presets - Apocalypso

And in that dark electro hole, there is occasionally a brilliant flash of rainbow neon disco light, primarily in the form of:

Hercules and Love Affair - Hercules and Love Affair

  • Mood: Satisfied
  • Listening to: Duh.
  • Reading: Everything
  • Watching: Arrested Development
  • Eating: Soup, Always Soup

'aeon' plays so often on my ipod that the next time i hook it up to itunes it will send a report to apple and they'll fine me for abuse.
:iconnovenarik:
Well Apple might be fining you, but something tells me the boys might be into it.

Hell yeah they are. And just behind Gogol Bordello, they are the loudest band I have ever seen live.

Well I am dead serious -- it was 4 or 5 hours before my hearing fully returned after Gogol, and I was in the back. Ladytron wasn't squite so bad, but is one of the few shows where I remember being like "ughh, this is a bit much."
